Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish with tender chicken, fresh spinach, and luscious cream cheese sauce that wraps around al dente pasta.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400 g Pasta (any shape like penne or fusilli)
  • 300 g Hähnchenbrust (chicken breast)
  • 200 g Frischkäse (cream cheese)
  • 150 g frischer Spinat (fresh spinach)
  • 2 Knoblauchzehen (garlic cloves)
  • 1 Zwiebel (onion)
  • 2 EL Olivenöl (olive oil)
  • Salz, Pfeffer (salt, pepper) to taste
  • Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add it to the pan. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Add the fresh spinach to the pan and wilt for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese until a creamy sauce forms. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the pan and mix well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and optionally, grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
  8. Serve the pasta hot and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with roasted pine nuts or fresh herbs to elevate the dish. Serve with garlic bread and salad for a complete meal.
